How we learn
At Little Nest Kid, we believe that children learn best through exploration. Each day, we weave learning into Movement, Art, Music, Meals & Rest, Structured Play, and Language — creating a balance of fun and growth.
Movement
Through dancing, yoga, stretching, and simple breathing exercises, children build coordination, balance, and confidence. Active play — indoors
or outdoors — also gives them space to release
energy, feel centered, and discover the fun in
moving their bodies.
Meals and Rest
We offer home-cooked meals that fuel children’s bodies and teach healthy habits, while quiet story time and naps give them the chance
to recharge.
Art
Through painting, drawing, and hands-on creative projects, children discover the joy of self-expression. Art sparks imagination, encourages problem-solving, and lets each child’s unique personality shine.
Structured Play
Each child is guided through age-appropriate activities that help them learn at their own pace. From puzzles and fine motor tasks to imaginative play, I provide one-on-one support to encourage them to explore their interests further.
Music
During circle time, we sing together as a group, and I play the keyboard at times to guide our songs. Children are welcome to join in with drums, percussion instruments, or simply clapping and their voices.
Language
Children are gently introduced to French and Filipino through stories, songs, and playful interaction, even art. This early exposure to language expands their understanding of the world and builds curiosity about different cultures.
